Corrections and complaints · process record
· Candidate process
A correction should leave a trace.
This page defines the intended handling discipline. It is not yet a live submission service because no public correspondence address has been approved.
Current limitation
The process exists before the channel.
No complaint form, complaint email or postal service address is published in the approved source. A complaint cannot be submitted through this page, and no acknowledgement or response time is promised.
- 01
Record
Log the page, catalogue code, statement or conduct complained of, and the outcome requested.
- 02
Preserve
Keep the relevant public wording and supporting material so a later change does not erase the audit trail.
- 03
Review
Separate factual correction, editorial disagreement, rights or attribution concern, accessibility barrier and data issue.
- 04
Decide and update
Authorised human review determines the outcome. Material catalogue corrections should update the public record without concealing the earlier error.
Prepare without oversharing
What a future report should contain.
The exact page address, title or catalogue code.
The precise wording, barrier or conduct at issue.
A checkable source or short explanation of the concern.
The correction or outcome requested.
No passwords, payment data, identity documents, confidential contracts or unnecessary sensitive information.
Owner input still required
A safe route needs an accountable recipient.
The owner must approve a public address, responsible recipient, privacy handling, escalation path and realistic service commitments before this process becomes operational.
